Home Minister Amit Shah calls a high level meeting with Cm’s, DGP’s and chief secretaries at 2pm today

Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened a high-level meeting today at 2:00 PMĀ  with Chief Ministers, Directors General of Police (DGPs), and Chief Secretaries from India’s border states. This urgent assembly was called in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack and the subsequent launch of Operation Sindoor. The meeting aimed to assess the current security situation and coordinate strategic responses to emerging threats.

The meeting included representatives from the following states and union territories:

 

Jammu & Kashmir

Punjab

Rajasthan

Gujarat

Uttarakhand

Uttar Pradesh

Bihar

Sikkim

West Bengal

Ladakh

These regions were chosen due to their proximity to international borders with Pakistan and Nepal, making them critical in the nation’s security framework.
