Social media accounts of several Pakistani actors and cricketers have once again been blocked in India.
Sources say they were briefly visible due to a technical issue, but the ban is now active again.
▪️In May, India had blocked many Pakistani platforms for allegedly spreading anti-India content. This included Instagram accounts of stars like Saba Qamar, Ahad Raza Mir, Yumna Zaidi, and Danish Taimoor, and YouTube channels of cricketers Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar.
▪️The government has also asked OTT and digital platforms to stop showing any content from Pakistan.
