The returnees were escorted by Indian authorities to the Attari-Wagah border, where they were handed over to Pakistani officials.​
Many of the Pakistani nationals had been residing in India due to various reasons, including family visits, medical treatments, and business engagements. Upon their return, the individuals expressed gratitude towards Indian authorities for their cooperation and assistance during their stay. They also conveyed hopes for improved bilateral relations between India and Pakistan.
