Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister P Chidambaram raised important questions regarding the delay in restoring Jammu and Kashmir statehood during a recent address on Wednesday. The former Union Minister criticized the central government’s repeated assurances regarding the restoration of statehood. “How soon is ‘soon’?” he quipped, underlining the growing impatience over the delay.
