JAMMU, AUGUST 10, 2026: Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, has proudly secured the 105th rank among 823 medical colleges across India in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2026 rankings. This remarkable milestone also includes the 33rd position in the North Zone, underscoring GMC Jammu’s commitment to academic and institutional excellence.

In detail, GMC Jammu secured notable scores: 133.50 in Teaching, Learning Resources, and Pedagogy; 134.45 in Research Outcome; 138.58 in Innovative Medical Infrastructure; 135.00 in Social Inclusion; 129.00 in Future Orientation; and 125.00 in External Perception.
