In a significant step towards enhancing hearing health, Hearing Help Pvt Ltd and WS Audiology (WSA) launched the BestSound Center 3.0 in Jammu on October 16, 2026. This initiative aims to provide greater access to hearing care for residents of Jammu & Kashmir, especially those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
The new center, located at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, underscores the commitment of both companies to bridge the gap between clinical audiology and patient-friendly service. By reimagining the hearing care experience, BestSound Center focuses on individual needs rather than traditional clinical approaches, creating an inclusive environment for all.
To celebrate this milestone, the organizations partnered with the Suryoday Foundation, donating 150 modern hearing aids to 75 underprivileged individuals in Jammu, reinforcing their mission to improve access to quality healthcare for all.
According to the World Health Organization, approximately 63 million Indians suffer from significant hearing impairments. Hearing loss not only disconnects people from their loved ones but can also hinder professional growth and social engagement. Despite the urgency, many remain unaware of solutions available to them. Factors such as stigma and cost often prevent individuals from seeking assistance.
“Our aim is to democratize access to hearing care. The BestSound Center 3.0 will ensure that people in Jammu & Kashmir receive world-class services comparable to major cities,” stated Mr. Avinash Pawar, Managing Director and CEO of WSA India. “We want to help individuals reconnect with their loved ones and communities, reinforcing the importance of communication in our lives.”
The BestSound Center features an open layout conducive to exploration and learning. It includes dedicated areas for diagnostic tests, consultations, product trials, and aftercare. This setup allows visitors to engage with hearing aids in a low-pressure environment, receiving guidance from trained professionals throughout the process.
The center also offers products from WSA’s two distinct hearing aid brands—Signia and Widex—catering to a variety of sound preferences. By combining advanced technology, the center aims to ensure that each customer finds the ideal hearing solution tailored to their unique lifestyle.
